My Instructional Design Journey

The Short Story

I am a learning experience designer with the necessary skills to develop agile and effective learning experiences grounded in adult-learning theories and instructional design principles.

My background as an educator is where my passion for curriculum design and eLearning began. My passion for crafting engaging and learner-centered curriculum developed while getting my master's degree at the University of Georgia in Instructional Design.

My design decisions are guided by research and evolving trends in the field of Learning and Design. I have worked closely and collaborated with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create a curriculum that is rooted in expertise and experience in the field. I am experienced in the instructional design principles Bloom's Taxonomy and ADDIE to make informed decisions that align with the scope of the course and provide insights for stakeholder needs. 

I value the learner because I know what it is like to be the learner! To lead effectively is to listen effectively, and I apply this careful reflective process in all my efforts - ensuring the experience you receive, is the best I have to offer. I consistently seek feedback because my goal is to empower learners! To me, empowering learners looks like using learner feedback and results to design curriculum and eLearning experience that produce successful results.
